Launched spring 2006, this race bred Jim Taylor designed 54 foot
fractional sloop was built by Aquidneck Composites of Bristol and
finished by Olsen Marine.
The design brief emphasized goals of simple elegance and the capacity for short handed sailing which has been more than adequately met. The swept two spreader carbon mast and tooled boom are beautifully faux finished. An 840 foot mainsail and self-tacking jib provide more than enough horsepower for this cruiser/racer, yet the sail plan is easily managed by the owner and his wife. Glory sails out of Marion, MA and cruises New England waters. |
