Composite Solutions builds the finest rudders and rudder posts available. Since 1997, CSI has the enviable record of having built nearly 600 rudders and shafts WITHOUT A FAILURE. We are justifiably proud of this record.

Our design, engineering, manufacturing process and finish quality have brought us to the forefront of designers and boat builders. Our female molded blades over autoclave-cured posts require little or no fairing in all cases.

CSI has assembled an impressive client list.

Composite Solutions is the exclusive rudder builder since 1976 for Goetz Custom Sailboats. We have built and are building every rudder for the new class of TP52's built by Goetz (8 to date) including rudders with leading edge kelp cutters and CNC machined Divinycell and Nomex cores. Rudders supplied to Goetz have also see action on America's Cup boats, Volvo boats, IRC, PHRF, and IMS racers.

CSI has also supplied rudders for racer/cruisers including Reichel/Pugh Pegasus 52, Farr 70 Atalanti, and the Lutra 56 with a retractable dagger rudder.

CSI manufactures all rudder shafts for Sabre yachts, producing over 300 since 1997.

CSI built the rudder shafts for all Carroll Marine built boats, over 200 total. This included all shafts for the Farr 40 class. The Farr 40 is now built by US Watercraft.

Composite Solutions has also manufactured rudderposts and complete rudders for the cruising boats designed by the Jim Taylor Design Group, the Fontaine Design Group, S+S, Reichel/Pugh, Farr yacht Design, and CW Paine Yacht Design to name just a few.

CSI has supplied rudders to builders including Goetz Custom, Lyman Morse, Waterline, J Boats, Holland Yachtbouw, Brooklin Boat Yard, French and Webb, and Derecktors.
